How to gather the seams of carpet

 Carpet seams remain invisible after installation. Several pieces of carpet is generally required to perform an installation of carpets inside a House. Sometimes, the seams of carpet will be hidden under door sills or transitions of floor coverings. Other times, the couture fall within a room or a corridor. These types of seams require special installation techniques to make them invisible to people using the carpet area. Overlap the two pieces of carpet in the couture. Remove the upper layer of carpet until its end is 3 to 4 inches beyond the edge of the lower floor.

Stretch a line of chalk exposed on the edge of the carpet. Take the chalk line to create a cutting line. Remove the line of the carpet. Align the blade of a line with the chalk line cutter. With Strawberry to allow tight on the top piece of carpet. Push the cutter along the line of cut length of carpet. Pull the piece cut carpet of couture.

Lift one side of the sewing of mats. Lay sewing tape section was thrown from the carpet. Cut the Ribbon from couture to length by sliding a knife through the band. Throw on the side has been lifted the carpet tape sewing. Bring the carpet ends until they fit tightly.

Unplug the iron. Continue to roll the couture until couture strip cools and holds the seam in place.
