How to Make a Carrot Origami

To make a carrot origami, start with a square piece of paper. Use orange for a realistic looking core paper and start folding.

Difficulty: Easy

1. Fold the paper diagonally into two with the orange side of the paper face down. Some coloured characteristic paper on one side which is white and only one color. If your document is like that, be sure to start with the side of the orange color to the bottom.

2. Open the document leaving the fold. Fold the lower left corner in the fold. Fold the upper right corner in the fold. Open the back so it looks like a valley. You should have three folds on your paper.

3. Fold the lower left corner of the Centre fold again. Fold the section until the next bend to the right, which was created when you first folded the upper right corner to the Center. This should create a vertical orange triangular piece to a flap on the right and left.

4. Fold the flap of the right to the bottom on the orange triangular piece. You should now have a flat orange triangle and solid.

5. Get the model with the left hand. With your right hand gently open the model by pressing the folds at the same time with the left hand. Should be a form of cone. At the top of the opening, the document should angle upwards.

6. Press on the lower part of the opening of the cone. Press 1 inch down from the top edge around the opening. You form the upper part of the core, where the Greens are usually. Press all around the Summit. Be sure to evenly press the paper around the Summit.

7. Press the top of the core set. It should form the top of the core and the rest of the core should be considered in three dimensions.

Top of the core in colour with a green marker so it looks like green carrot, or find paper designed for folding origami cores.

Press the fold firmly to create folds of the craft.

If you don't have a sheet of paper squares, cut a rectangular room in a square.
